Club Report: Last week we had a very informative talk from Jami Sutter who is getting ready to leave for a week as a volunteer in Haiti. Jami's enthusiasm was contagious. We look forward to having her return and tell us all about it.
Attendance: Now that we have moved to the Event Center it is very important to keep up our attendance. Not only is it unfair to the members of the Friends of the Fair to take the time to cater our lunches and not have our members attend, according the our Rotary Bylaws "...attendance must be evidenced by the member's being present for at least sixty (60) percent of the time devoted to the regular meeting, either at this club or at any other Rotary club...." Is there are reason? Please let us know, attendance is very important, if you are not attending we encourage you to make up either online or at another club's meeting.

If you are coming and I don't have your name highlighted please let me know. Look at the list, and get together a Rotary Table. Talk to Marlyn and she will help make the arrangements.
Our 2009/2010 Rotary Exchange Student:
Meet Michelle Mejia. Michelle is from Ambato, Ecuador. She is 17 years old and is looking forward to meeting new people and learning languages. She plans on studying Public Relations. We need to have at least two host families lined up to have Michelle stay with them. If you are interested in this program or have any questions please talk to Jeff Davis.
