Board Members (in order of succession): Pete Peterson, Gloria Eide, Jeff Davis, Mark Sayler, Bryan Little, John Spicer (Past / Vice President), Amber Hughes (Treasurer), Jeni Meyer (Secretary)
The meeting was called to order at the Event Center on the Beach, Showcase Building at 1302. In attendance: Peterson, Eide, Hughes, Sayler, Little and Spicer. Hughes took attendance on behalf of Secretary Meyer.
1. Hughes made a motion to accept the following membership proposals from the Membership committee: Bryan Grummon and Akilesh Vedartham. The motion was seconded by Eide and was unanimously passed.
2. Hughes presented correspondence from Advantage Smiles for Kids (ASK), which asks for financial assistance for orthodontic work for one particular child in our community. The board was not comfortable making such a specific contribution but instructed Hughes to refer them to the coordinator for the ongoing sealant program for assistance. The board is more inclined to provide assistance to a program, rather than an individual.
